Aroma: Intense black berry fruit, attractive, ripe plums are highlighted, a hint of nougat and cocoa, delicate caramel, subtle hints of dried fruit.
Palate: Very powerful, sweet and full-bodied, dark nougat, well embedded, present tannins, pleasant sweetness.
Conclusion: Freshly structured, oranges in the finish, very good future potential, chocolatey finish, fine extract sweetness in the aftertaste.
Editor Choice: We recommend decanting vintages between 1982 and 2000 about an hour before serving. So their aromas may be released gently.
