This rosé wine is made from the Gamay grape and comes from vines planted in 1977.
Gamay is a red wine grape that produces good and light wines. These wines work well chilled and therefore they have chosen to make a rosé wine on that particular grape. Since Gamay is a red grape, the grape skins are not macerated too long in the grape must, which gives it the light red rosé color.
Domaine Philippe Gavignet Coteaux Bourguignons Rosé is matured for 12 months in stainless steel containers. Served at 6-8 degrees. Fantastic rosé wine for Burgundy lovers. Enjoy best on hot summer days!
Recommended Serving Temperature: 10-12°C
