Aroma: Loads of fruit. Zesty grapefruit, baked toffee apples. Dry, chocolate Flake-y wood and cinnamon.
Palate: Candied fruits and Glenfiddich freshness balances richer notes of dried apricot, more cinnamon and toffee, ginger and dry Sherry.
Conclusion: Peels and a touch of salted toffee. A wonderfully rich and enjoyable Glenfiddich single malt.
Editor Choice: This Speyside single malt has been partially aged in sherry barrels and reveals notes of fresh walnuts. Old gold colour; the nose is characterised by elegant notes of vanilla. The supple palate is dominated by sherry. The dry finish develops with walnuts and floral notes.
