Aroma: Lemon and orange peels, a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, runny caramel.
Palate: Milk chocolate, toffee, vanilla essence and ripe banana.
Conclusions: Honey'd barley and a touch of dried tropical fruit.
Editor Choice: Crafted at the state-owned Nantou distillery, Omar is the “other” Taïwanaise single malt. Exclusively matured in ex-bourbon casks, this whisky is medium bodied with an oily texture and notes of vanilla and mandarin.
