Kyoto Distillery is the first whiskey distillery in Kyoto, located in Kyotanba Town, central Kyoto Prefecture. Kyotanba Town is located in the Tamba Plateau area and has an excellent natural environment for making whiskey. The Yura River not far from the winery is known as a natural fishing ground and is rich in natural resources. It has the unique taste combined with spiciness and sweetness, while the traditional style remains.
