
The grapes for this wine were sourced from Audrey Wilkinson Vineyard, which was first planted in 1866 and is one of the original vineyards of the Hunter Valley. Enjoying an elevated position, overlooking the Pokolbin sub-region, its unique variety of soil types produces distinctive wines of exceptional quality. Made from Malbec and Shiraz, this wine underwent secondary fermentation in bottle and then tirage sur lie for 2 years. It is a deep purple in colour, with pronounced violet aromas with medium flavours of black and red cherry, red plum with light ginger and toast on the palate.
