
The wine is grown in Umbria (the land locked region at the centre of Italy known as Italy’s lungs). It is largely a natural reserve where wine and olives are grown in a bio friendly way in the manner that they have been for centuries. The wine is then taken a few kilometres away to the Cantina Regina which makes it in aluminium vats for about 6 months before it is bottled in April. The grapes were planted in 2018 and first harvested in 2022 producing about 3000 bottles of wine half red and half white on a 4 acre plot. It is a delicious fruity, full bodied but drinkable wine. This wine may be perfectly tasted with steak or pasta.
