Cocktail Recipe: Rum Punch with Don Maddero Dorado
Ingredients:
- 10 mint leaves, torn or thinly sliced
- 1 ounce Don Maddero Dorado
- 1 ounce Don Maddero Blanco
- 1 ounce fresh orange juice
- 1 ounce mango nectar or juice
- 1/2 ounce pineapple juice
- Ice
- 1 pineapple wedges
Preparation:
In a pitcher, combine all of the ingredients except the ice and pineapple wedges, refrigerate until chilled, about 2 hours.
Stir well and serve over ice in red wine glasses.
Garnish each drink with a pineapple.
Cocktail Recipe: Mai Tai with Don Maddero Dorado
Ingredients:
- Pineapple wedge, cherry and mint sprig, for garnish
- 1 dash Pernod
- 1 cup cracked ice
- 1 1/2 ounces Don Maddero Dorado
- 1/2 ounce orange curaçao
- Ice cubes
- 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1 ounce Don Maddero Blanco
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Preparation:
Fill a shaker with ice cubes.
Add 1 ounce of the Don Maddero Dorado & Don Maddero Blanco, lime juice, curaçao, bitters and Pernod; shake well.
Blanco lime juice, curaçao, bitters and Pernod; shake well.
Strain into a rocks glass filled with cracked ice.
Float the remaining dark rum on top.
Garnish with the pineapple, cherry and mint sprig.

Cocktail Recipe: Ron Maddero's Sidecar
Ingredients:
- 1 lemon wedge (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar, plus more for rimming the glass (optional)
- 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
- Ice
- 1 1/2 ounces Ron Maddero Dorado,
- 3/4 ounce triple Sec
- 1 lemon twist(optional)
Preparation:
If desired, moisten the outer rim of a martini glass with the lemon wedge and coat lightly with sugar. In a cocktail shaker, stir the 1/2 teaspoon of sugar with the lemon juice. Fill the shaker with ice, add the rum and triple sec and shake well. Strain into the martini glass and, if desired, garnish with the lemon twist.
